As an Information Technology Policy Writer, you will utilize your skills to document and maintain, with assistance of service and operation subject matter experts, ITIL V3 based Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operation Level Agreements (OLAs) and other requirements needed to support Service Level Management. The contractor will also translate current SLAs and Standard Operating Procedures into clear, concise documents appropriate for various target audiences, and develop the necessary communication channels to promote the SLAs and OLAs for Information Technology Service Management and articulate the vision of the overall SLA and OLA implementation.

Successful candidates must have the following skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of IT policy writing experience analyzing, designing, developing, delivering and maintaining IT policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.
  • Minimum of 3 years developing technical service documentation. 
  • Minimum of 3 years Technical proficiency with word processing (Word) and presentation (PowerPoint) applications.
  • Information Technology Service Management SLA and OLA writing experience analyzing, designing, developing, delivering and maintaining ITIL V3 policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
  • Ability to interpret industry best practice information and assessment results to provide consultative direction to customers.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills sufficient to meet tight timelines and adjust to changing schedules and priorities.   
  • Experience with content management tools.
  • Experience with process flow tools.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrably high skills and reasonable experience in writing and editing media.

Selected candidates must possess a current active Secret Security clearance. This is a contract opportunity through the month of August 2009, with capability to telecommute twice a week. Work will be performed on Peterson Air Force Base.
