Job Line: Submitting a Job Posting

To announce a position on the Rocky Mountain Chapter's web site, please send your job announcement via email to jobs@stcrmc.org. While we focus on posting local (Front Range) positions, we will post out-of-state positions which include a full relocation package.

To ensure your announcement is posted as quickly as possible, please do the following:

  • Include your announcement in the message of your email. Avoid sending attachments.
  • Do not unnecessarily format your announcement. Don't insert extra spaces. Don't center text. Use dashes as bullets.
  • Please send a separate email for each job.

Make your announcement as succinct as possible, but do include (in this order) the following information:

  • Classify the position as one of the following:
    • Direct employee - if your company has an opening for a direct, fulltime permanent or temporary employee
    • Agency employee - if you are an agency/consulting firm placing a fulltime employee with a company
    • Contract (W2, 1099, Sole Proprietorship, S Corporation, LLC, Partnership)
  • Position title.
  • Company name.
  • Job location.
  • Required qualifications. STC's anti-discrimination policy is more strict than required by law. For details, see www.stc.org/policystatements_antidiscrimination.asp.
  • Desired qualifications.
  • Response requirements and method (for example, "Send resume via email or fax to ...").
  • Contact name and numbers, if you are willing to receive calls from potential candidates.
  • In addition to a contact name for resumes, please indicate who we should call if we have any questions or issues about the job posting itself.

If you have questions about the format of the announcement, check our current announcements for guidance. We reserve the right to edit as necessary.

We'll post the job as soon as possible - usually within 24 hours.  Once posted, we'll notify our mailing list that a new job has been listed.

If you want your announcement marked as "Filled", send a request to jobs@stcrmc.org

The current jobs page (http://www.stcrmc.org/jobs_freelance/jobline.htm) contains listings for the current quarter.  The archive page (http://www.stcrmc.org/jobs_freelance/jobs_old.htm) contains links to historical postings, broken out by quarter.
